As a player who lives in the United States I'm perfectly happy with the mini pets that are available to me.

Sure, I know there are mini pets that have been released in other parts of the world that were not available to me. Some of these I would really like to have, but I'm fine with that.

If Anet wants to release a special pet in a certain area of the world, thats their choice. If South Africa can get a pet just for their area that's OK with me. "It's all good" as far as I'm concerned.

all we get is the leftover bits of shrapnel that get thrown at us like the azura and ceradon witch i missed out on anyway.

I'm not from south africa but i agree there should be mini pet promotions for there =)
and a mini promotions for central and south america and for other continents/countries that are not EU or NA would be nice too...

Yes, I did not pay for bonus extras,neither did the regions that benefit more at the moment, but paying for the game the same as everyone else, should entitle me to equal opportunities to recieve bonus extras same as everyone else, which we are not recieving.

I am from South Africa, and we have a huge player base and PC Magazines, we got the Asura pet through a magazine, but that was all. And those issues of the mag was sold out within a few days, I think there is enough of a client base to make it worth while to do it.

I have no problem with NA players recieving a miniture destroyer, I have a problem with having to buy one for 50k and not recieving something exclusive in my region which I can sell to NA players for say 50k.

If I look at the replies posted here it seems the Southern hemisphere is getting the raw deal. Maybe exclusive offers should be done continent wise, that way North America, South America, Africa,Europe,Asia ect will benefit from a exclusive bonus not available to everyone else, which will make it worth more on the open market, because face it, the Asura pet is not worth much, because everyone got one.

This is where you are wrong.

They are BONUS EXTRAS, outside what you payed for the initial game.

ok, i'm also from south africa, and i remember when the asura pet came here, i struggled to by a magazine as they sold out so quickly. but thats about all we get. it would be really cool if we could get an exclusive pet. how about a mini springbok seeing as we are rugby world champs

I say there need to be a mini promotion for the countries left out of there grand sweepstakes and other mini promotions.

Places like South Africa, and Australia are often excluded from taking part in the 1000 min give aways and special promotions on the simple basis that while they are assumed to be connected to a server, namely EURO for Australians, they actually are not allowed to take part in most of the comps run for such servers.

Strike back for the forgotten nations, if we can't get our own we should atleast get equal chance with other nations!

I dunno...I think I am against this whole "regional mini pets" thing. As seen here, whole regions/continents/countries get left out in the cold. I feel it sends a message that the game company doesn't care about that area.

Sure they do the whole promotional thing in Asia, where the competion to get players to buy your game is fierce, but that doesn't make up for totally ignoring other regions. There are people buying their game everywhere, why cater to just certain regions?

I am all for offering mini pets for tournament rewards and in game/out of game contests that are open to every player. You got the skillz=you get a great, rare reward. Magz promos=not so much.

I would also love to see more in game quests to create a mini. The Moa was a great idea imo. It took me a long time to get and cost a small fortune (gold sink) to get the spiritwood planks, but it was worth it to me. They could do more cross campaign quests for rare minis and single campaign quests for common minis.

Of course now I have waaaay to many minis and can't ever decide which is my fav and want to display
